since this morning one of the four ESXs (ESX version 3.5.0) is reporting errors when starting the vms it hosts. The errors it reports include:
This virtual machine has tried to execute an invalid part of memory. It is possible that the virtual disk or CD media you are using is not bootable...
(but has no CD media attached and the disks work fine on another ESX)
The virtual machine suffered a stack fault in kernel mode.
Anyone any ideas?
Try to create new Guest machine and run any OS on it and test what result you get ? Is that guest OS running on other ESX host after migration from faulty box ?

Someone touched my ESXs... and edited the advanced settings. Fixed it.
