vRanger is failing to backup a VM

Hi,

I am using the vRanger Pro to backup VMs, all the other jobs are successful except one. The error message is " An internal error occurred during execution, please contact Vizioncore support if the error persists. Error Message: User root could not be authenticated".

I have installed vRanger Pro in a VM, connected to ESX and Virtual Center.

Is there any suggestion?

I would contact their support as the message says. I have had nothing but good experieences with them. Fast and to the point. After all - you're paying for it.

Have you change the root password on ESX?
