vRanger Issue

I jsut put some new ESX 3.5u4 host servers on-line and now when I attempt to add them to my vRanger backup rotation I an error message stating that "host <hostname> appears to be a non Esx host - operation is not allowed"

The unfortunate thing is that we no longer have Vizioncore support for the simple reason that their support is crap and it would appear that their forums are off-line this evening.

Has anyone experienced this issue?

We have 3.5 U2, 3.5U4 and 3.5i in our environment backed up with vRanger 3.3.0 and have never had an issue. Which version of vRanger? Have you done anything different with the security settings on the updated hosts? Where they actually updated or was this a clean install of 3.5U4?

All hosts were configured frmo the sameks.cfg script and I am not aware of anything being installed differently on the new host.

This was a clean install of ESX 3.5u4.
