vMotion compatibility: AMD 82xx vs AMD83xx

All,

I have been looking at the AMD compatibility guides from VMware and I can't figure it out:

1) Is it feasible to perform vMotion between a dual core AMD (82xx chipset) and a quad (83xx chipset)?

2) Does it require a mask override?

3) If it requires an override is it supported?

Any insight will help.

see this.. from what I can tell the dual core 8000 family is only supported.
