Hi I have been upgrading VMWare tools on three XP vms, all the same build, however being used with different application but each references each other for data.
VM Server 1 has happily gone from 3.1.2.4876 to 3.1.2.5692, whereas vm server 2 & 3 keep on retaining 3.1.2.4876, I have tried uninstalling and re-installing a couple of times but with the same result. The installs work exactly as expected, no errors showing, but no upgrade either.
The VMs are XP Pro2002 SP 2. Anyone have any thoughts much appreciated. Mike
