trouble adding new iSCSI LUN

I hope this is easy.

I currently have 5 ESX 3.5 hosts that all attach to two LUNs on our Dell Equal Logic NAS.

I need to add a third storage pool, to which I will eventualy migrate about 1/2 of my guests.

I've created the LUN, used the Equal Logic management tools to grant access to one of my hosts, and I've refreshed my iSCSI (software) storage adapter.

I can see in my Equal Logic tools that my host has connected to the new LUN.

However the LUN doesn't appear in my hosts lists of attached LUNs (on the Storage Adapter section of the Configuration tab) and it doesn't appear when I attempt to Add Storage in the Storage section of the configuration page.

I've tried rebootiing the host, but that didn't make any differnce.

Am I forgetting something obvious?

Have you checked your vmkernel log to see if there are any helpful messages?
