setup jumbo frames for iSCSI?

I'm using qlogic iSCSI adaptors to connect to an iSCSI SAN. The SAN documentation recomends using jumbo frames for the ethernet setup. I've enabled jumbo frames on the SAN device as well as the switches but I cannot find where I need to do it in ESX 3.5.4.

Where do I enable Jumbo frames for my HBAs?

Here is a detail set of instructions on a post by Scott Lowe: http://blog.scottlowe.org/2008/04/22/esx-server-ip-storage-and-jumbo-frames/ You just need to set the MTU on the vSwitch you'll be using and create a vmkernerl interface with the right MTU configuration

It's a hardware initiator, not a software.

So no need of vmkernel interface.

iSCSI HBA must be configured in BIOS:

If you do not have the MTU property try to upgrade the firmware.
