problems adding storage

I have asked the storage team to provide me 2 * 300 Gb lun's and 1 * 200 GB lun/SRDF.

I see all[/b] lun's in Configuration\Storage Adapters\details

When I want to format the lun's in vmfs3 via Configuration\Storage(SCSI, SAN, and NFS)\add storage\Disk-LUN I can only see the 300 GB lun's. I can format those lun's without any problem. Only the 200 GB with SRDF isn't visible.

What does the output of esxcfg-mpath -l look like?

I'm just curious if its being seen path'd like the rest of the luns.

Someone else might have the same issue and can benefit from your experience.

The storage team used the same lun id for this new 200 GB lun as for a lun of 12 GB they had just removed.

So a former partition of 12 GB was linked to the entire lun of 200 GB

This way it wasn't available.

After I deleted the partition it was again visible.
