networking in esx

Can anyone help me to provide connectivity between lan inside site and the esx sever. I have a virtual center with IP 192.168.244.5/24, and the ip of the network 192.168.244.0. The problem I can't know how to put and configure 1-the IP of the service console inside of the Esx, 2-the Vmkernel "i have a san switch fibre channel with IP 192.168.200.6" 3-the IP of virtual machine to communicate with other VM, and with my internal LAN (192.168.244.0/24). I hope to known about how to configure my network. thank y.

Hi Taou!

Normally u provide an IP address for the service console during ESX installation. Haven't u done this?

You don't need an IP address to communicate in a fibre channel SAN!

Pls refer to this link:

There u'll find all necessary information about how to configure ESX server, networking, SAN and so on

Cheers,

Matthias
