need to restore data from VMFS

After moving SAN Storage to another location and connecting it to different ESX Server, VMFS volume with several VMs was accidently formatted during "Add Storage" operation.

anyone knows how data can be restored??

I don't know if there is a way to "unformat". Call Tech Support for a definite answer.

You should open a SR by Vmware - don't try to do anything more yourself.

As Christian noted, you should call VMware Support. They can walk you through the fdisk trickery to recreate the required partition table. There's no guarantees, but it usually works. Let us know if you don't have support before you go trying to restore everything.
