multiple datastores same harddrive

Hi

I have been trying to configure ESX and have created a single datastore on the local harddrive (LUN), but cannot make another.

The drive is 500 gb and the store is 150 gb so I don't see why I shouldn't be able to make several datastores.

ESX is not like Windows, to make multiple Datastores on a LUN or Drive you have to partition it first, do a google for fdisk on linux for the correct syntax
