Hi all-
I'm running ESX 3.0. I have a RHEL4 guest running oracle grid software. A couple of weeks ago, i was getting the following error:
SCSI Error : <0 0 0 0> return code = 0x20008
end_request: I/O error, dev sda, sector 4928181 Aborting journal on device dm-0 ext3_abort called.
EXT3-fs error (device dm-0): ext3_journal_start_sb: Detected aborted journal
Remounting filesystem read-only.
I fixed this by installing a patch i found on the vmware site. Now I'm getting the following error:
mptscsi: ioc0: task abort: SUCCESS
Does anyone have any idea what this is. I have searched the red hat site and google, but i can't find anything of value.
