may be snapshot: disabling access.

Hi all,

We have a VMware datacenter with 4 hosts.

Recently two of the hosts started showing two messages similar to this one:

cpu7:1040)LVM: 4476: vml.02000d0000600a0b80000f229e000002554777b792313734322d39:1 may be snapshot: disabling access. (etc)

Apparently nothing is missing, every VM is running, nothing changed.

Should I worry about this?

Thank you.

Take a look at this thread: http://communities.vmware.com/message/934256#934256

quoted from Mike Laspina

This sounds more like a SAN issue that a VMware issue. When an ESX server sees the UUID of a VMFS partition showing up on a different LUN ID the ESX server will disable access to the LUN in and effort to protect it.

Thank you William,

In our situation we can see all luns, nothing is missing. I'm not sure what to expect or do.
