lpfc_ct_unsol_buffer in the vmkernel log

Two repetitive lines have been flooding the vmkernel logs in one of my cluster. After googling it and talking to a VMware tech support, I still can not find any answer what these two lines are about, nor be able to get rid of it. Has anyone seen this?

We are using Emulex with NetApp 3050C, ONTAP 7.2.3. Emulex consists of LPe1150 and LP9802.

Hi Byron,

Simply put, this message indicates that the driver is dropping the traffic it is receiving, because it is not inteded for this HBA. In every case I have seen, this is caused by a switch not working correctly. Although the driver is catching the traffic, and dropping it, you shouldn't have any problems, but I would strongly recommend troubleshooting the switches.

I am asking the SAN admin to check on it, and will get back once he finds anything.

Thanks, Steve.
