Please note that thread 73745 uses "Test Connection Rate", for me on my QLogic HBA's this gave me terrible performance. This checkbox is not selected by default in IOMeter.
Easy config:
- Install IOMeter
- Maximum Disk Size: 4000000 (2GB test file)
- # of outstanding I/Os: 64
- Choose or edit the following access specifications:
- 32K; 100% Read; 0% random
- 32K; 0% Read; 0% random
- 32K; 50% Read; 0% random
- Apply those access specs to a Disk target.
You can view the results via the Results tab or look at the .CSV file you selected when you run the test.
