I don't know if this is a problem or to be concern about. I have 2 iSCSI datastore connected to 4 ESX 3.5 U3 host. The original datastore shows information when I select the datastore and properties it will list the extent and information about the extent but the other datastore which is a new datastore that was created it does not show any extend or information when I go to the properties of the datastore. But the new datastore is formated as vmfs 3.31 and I was able to svmotion all our VMs over to it and everything appears to be working. My questions is it normal to have no extent information for a datastore and still be functioning?
