hpyerthreading in ESX 3.5

Hi,

Should Hyperthreading be enabled on ESX 3.5 ? Will it cause performance degration?

Hyperthreading, if available on the CPU, should be enabled - this is best practice. A hyperthreaded core presents an addiitional Hardware Execution Context for the vmkernel to schedule a virtual CPU - this allows the vmkernel more flexibility in scheduling the vCPU so actually will improve performance of your ESX host -

Any document to show that hyperthreading need to be enabled is the best pratice.
