how to downgrade to a previos version for a patch ?

I would not downgrade to a previous version to install a earlier patch.

After installing a patch that fails use the command:

\# grep -i downgrade /var/log/vmware/esxupdate.log to see what fails. For further info read the following doc:

The only way to go back is to reinstall the ESX host.
