Hi,

This is regarding lun reset on vm guest. can any one tell me if i issue lun reset on vmguest then what will happen ? will it clear all outstanding IO . will it clear the buffer having IO ?

Unless you're presenting RAW LUNS to the guest, I don't expect this type of command to work.

yes i am using raw device mapping. i have installed sg_reset on the vmguest and issuing lun reset . it's working. i just want to be confirmed about it's result will it clear all pending IO residing in buffer?
