esxupdate question

Is there a way to get all updates using esxupdate instead of Update Manager via VC?

sure... You could download all the updates, place them into a repository and do it via scripting. I used this back in the 3.0.x days, however it should still work just fine.

That's what I thought. I only ask since one of the servers is in Japan while VC is in the US. Updates keep timing out.

yeah in that case over the WAN, you may want to run the updates locally on ESX as apposed to pushing them through VUM over the WAN
