esxcfg commands not working

For some reason I got command not found message when I try to issue esxcfg- commands on the server console. It happened after upgrade to ESX 3.5. Does anyone has the same issue? How can I fix it?

Thank you for your help!

su - will set up the correct environment ( path, variables etc ) while su just switches the user.
