esx 3.5 HADRS cluster configuration

Hi,

I have recently installed ESX 3.5 on 2 of my HP proliant DL 380 G4 servers and one server I am using for VC 2.5. After configuring HA and DRS cluster, I am getting the message in the summary tab as " configuration issue :- Host (hostname) currently has no management network redundancy. I have created 2 V switches. One for service console and one for vmkernel and Virtual machines. Not sure what I am doing wrong. VMotion works fine. Any suggestions ?

Thanks

Hi

The message that you get regard the redondancy for the service console. How many vNIC (physical network interface) have each of your vSwitch?

To have redondancy you must have 2 service console interface (vswif) on 2 different vSwitch or a vSwitch with 2 pNIC attach to it. This is considere as redondancy by VMware.
