error connecting .vmx not started

I have created a xp sp3 VM in a ibm blade .In local disk.after creating and configuring i restarted the machine .I am unable to start the machine.I get the error" error connecting .vmx not started ". I am not able to restart or Shut down the VM. I could not login also. EXS 3.5 & Virtual center is 2.5.

Hello,

You may need to restart the management agents.

service mgmt-vmware restart

Also check to be sure the VM has a VMX by using the datastore browser.
