hpasm will take care of all the agents. hpsmhd is the homepage process.

As far as I remember

hpasm

hprsm ( 8.0 onwards not there I think)

cmanic

hp-openipmi (ipmi driver)

hpsmh is a web service and if above services are not running it will not contain any details

Hello,

This should stop the agents:

service hpasm stop

service hpsmhd stop

service snmpd stop

This will not let them come up after a reboot:

chkconfig hpasm off

chkconfig hpsmhd off

chkconfig snmpd off

We would like to disable the agents as well, but leave the "smart array agent" enabled

Our ESX's hosts are running VSPHERE 4.0.0 with HP insight ver 8.2.5

Any help is appreciated
