different formats of the timestamp in VC

Hi,

we are having a strange problem with different timestamp formats in VC for the tasks and events.

Some tasks are added with the date formated in MM/DD/YYYY (05/29/2009) and the others are added in DD.MM.YYYY(29.05.2009).

This would be no problem, but VC itself gets confused because it has problems sorting the tasks in the right way. (newest on top)

So e.g. there are some tasks which occured five days ago and VC thinks these are the youngest ones.

Just see the screenshot to get clear what I mean :).

Any ideas what's wrong here? The problem was not present from the beginning, but I am not sure when it occured the first time.

Our VC OS is W2k3 in german language. So the format in DD.MM.YYYY would be right and the best for us :).

Bye, Chris

Hi,

I am guiessing that not all your hosts are in Germany? They are reporting the local date / tyime based on their location - of course the American dates are wrong way round . . .

One day I will virtualise myself . . .

Hi,

thanks for your answer, but no they are all here and are using the same timeservers and ntp configs.

And the events I did in the screenshot where actions on the Clusters, not at hosts.
