configure raw disk mapping to the vm running on different esx host.

I have problme configure RAW disk sharing to VM that running on 2 different ESX server. Before I added the RAW disk to one of my VM , in both ESX I am able to view the RAW disk that I have presented. Once I added the RAW disk to the VM, the other ESX cant see that RAW disk, even I tried to re-scan the storage the result stil the same.

I can confirm I've seen this too - it doesn't stop anything working though - an artifact of ESX perhaps? More of a worry than an actual problem I think.

When Using RDMs, when you connect the RDM to the first host, it connects normally.

When connecting to the Second host, you need to press "use an existing disk" and then address it to the *.vmdk file (pointer) created in the first server firectory, inside the VMFS.

Weird problem, but this is the solution that works..
