cimserver hanging on reboot

This has happened several times now: When I reboot one of my ESX servers, sometimes hostd will not stop. When I kill this process manually, shutdown continues, until the message "Backtrace for process cimserver (PID):" is repeated several times. At this moment, the machine is inaccessible (I can switch console screens with ALT-F1, ALT-F2, etc, but not log in any more). After about fifteen minutes, a PSOD appears. See the attached images.

What's going on here?

Yes, that patch is installed. And I haven't noticed any large numbers of zombies before the patch.

I have been noticing an issue with the cimserver process as well. I get the backtrace messages when trying to perform a reboot. But I have also noticed a cimserver process locking up one of the cores on the ESX host with 100% core useage. I have noticed that restarting the Pegasus service (service pegasus restart) gets rid of the hung cimserver process.
