adding multiple hard drives to clients

Hi,

I would like to add multiple hard drives to my VMware guest OSes (as in about a thousand per client), but I don't want to click through the menues that many times (!). Is there some way to add multiple hard drives at once, or modify some config file that does it?

Thanks,

Tyler Boone

You could use vmkfstools to create the disk files and vmware-cmd to add them to the VM.

Ummm....I don't think you can add that many disks to a client. You are limited to 4 SCSI controllers per virtual machine and 15 devices per SCSI controller.
