Windows 2008R2 32bit OS install Pegs CPU - Lock Files

Host System:

IBM HS21XM Blade 1xQC 2.2Ghz CPU

16GB RAM

ESX 3.5U4

SAN boot with 2TB SAN VMFS0 off SVC Cluster

*****

Issue:

A tech at our company crated a virtual machine for windows 2008 32bit. It pegged the CPU on the entire blade to 100%. As it was a new VM, he deleted and recreated it several times to try to figure out the issue. In looking into this it appears the issue may be that the VM has leftover lock files out on the VMFS volume. And as he has created newnamed versions of the Windows2008 32bit VMs, it has now a lot of vmfs direcotries with locked files.

The VM is deleted but if I browse the datastore or delete via

# ls -alh

total 77G

How do I discover who has locks on these files so I can get them off the system?
