In general physical servers ,the OS will pass the control to BIOS for a I/O Operations,CPU cycles request etc.,how does this happen in ESX server installed machine ,if the guest OS request for I/O or CPU , the VMKernel will again send a request to BIOS or directly interact with hardware??.
