We just upgraded one of our blades from 2 x Quad Core 2.3GHz to 2 x Quad Core 3.0GHz.
Now when it boots up and is at the ready screen we get red writing with some type of warning about CPU's. This stays after multiple reboots.
Does anyone know how to get rid of this warning / error?
See attached image.
This actually isn't anything to do with your CPU's. somehow your host is seeing the LUN's and not seeing them prsented with the same lun numbers as before so you will need ot go into the advanced settings in VIC or VC config and enable resign
this will probably help Resignaturing VMFS3 Volumes

You're probably right because not only did we replace the CPU's but the motherboard failed and we needed a replacement from Dell. So after the replacement motherboard was installed (which has the onboard raid controller) it needed to re-mirror the RAID1 set.
Anyways before I got your reply I was looking at some stuff and we saw that no local storage existed (storage1) so we re-added it again and then rebooted the server. Bad move ... no longer booting up.
So we are currently rebuilding it from scratch, which really isn't a problem seeing as everthing is stored on the SAN and it only takes three hours max before it's ready to go into production. Didn't get to try what you said but it makes the most sense 🐵
Damn sex fingers ....
