VmWare converter ports

Hi,

What network ports have to be opened to have a functinnal Vmware converter ? (902, 903, 8000 ... ?)

Is Vmware converter use service console IP, Vmotion IP or both ?

If you are using the Converter 4.01 stand alone heck out page 26 of http://www.vmware.com/pdf/converter_standalone_guide401.pdf

If you are using VMware Enterprise Converter 3 check out page 23 of http://www.vmware.com/pdf/vi3_vec_10u2_admin_guide.pdf

Converter would use either the service console IP if you are ocnnecting directly to the ESX server or your virtual center iip address if you using virtual center to connect to your ESX servers -
