Vista using MAK key activation issues

Has anyone else run into issues using a MAK key with Vista? Vista will activate but if the machine is removed from VirtualCenter and readded it becomes unactivated. I have talked with tech support and it is a known issue. Any work around or suggestions?

We had problems activating it to begin with, a workaround for us was just "change" the product key and retype in the same key. After we did that everything seemed fine. I don't know if that is a solution to the same problem you're having.
