VirtualCenter (as a VM) and HA

I was thinking this over. I run VirtualCenter on a VM and have HA going across several hosts. If I lose the host that VirtualCenter is running on, will my VMs still fail over to a new host, or is that handled by VirtualCenter?

Your VMs will still fail over - including the VC VM.
