VMwareUser.exe and VMwareTray.exe terminate unexpectedly

McAfee client error log shows :

Would be blocked by Access Protection rule (rule is currently not enforced) NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM C:\Windows\system32\wbem\wmiprvse.exe C:\Program Files (x86)\VMware\VMware Tools\VMwareUser.exe Virtual Machine Protection:Prevent Termination of VMWare Processes Action blocked : Terminate

ESX 3.5 ; 2008 64-bit VM

This happens multiple times per second over and over again.

The access protection rule shows what "would be blocked" if it were enforced...merely a report of what would be if the rule was enforced. If you want to stop from reporting this in the logs, you need to go into the access protection and uncheck the reporting of this. See if that helps, but it sounds like something else may be causing it to crash.
