I just built a virtual machine - RHEL 4 update 6, on ESX 3.5. U2 (110268). As soon as I install vmware tools, I lose the network on the virtual machine. Can't get in or out. Can't even ping the gateway. Tried restarting the network, no help. Reboot, no help. I uninstall tools and the network works fine.
Anybody got any ideas?
