1. VMware 4.1
2. EVA8400 with BC/CA
4. Around 10 VM require DR protection
3. RPO requirement : 4-6hrs
I am going to revamp my current DR strategy with SRM
Just want to know if the VMware SRM 4 on EVA8400 supports my RPO requirement.
I am afraid of one situation:
If the PRD site is down and causes Data corruption, the dirty LUN will also sync to DR site. Will the SRM take a snapshot in DR site in every 4-6 hrs? Also, during snapshot taking, is it just a H/W level BC snapshot? will the data consistency be garanteed?
