VMs running but showing powered off

Hi,

I`m working on Virtual infrastructure 3.5. There are 3 VM`s which are showing as powered off in the inventory, but the VM is actually ON and RUNNING.

The server can be accessible using terminal client.

I cant see any details for these VM`s like perfomance, resource utilisation etc. Other VM`s on the same have no such issues. Do anyone know the remedy

I don't know if this is definitely the issue but maybe the vmware management services need to be restarted from the service console.

service mgmt-vmware restart

Try restarting both agents on the ESX host and the VC server service agent on vCenter.

service mgmt-vmware restart

service vmware-vpxa restart

on vc server go to windows services and restart the VMware virtual center server service.

sounds like just a stuck display related issue.
