VMWare Update Manager Error (Error 12029)

Hello @all,

today i want to test the VMWare update Manager on my environment ( 2 ESX 3.5 + VC 2.5).

When i start the scheduled Task Update Download i will become a Error message after a view minutes:

Web side hosting ..... cannot be reached.

I have no Proxy between the Internet, all Ports for the VC to the world are open.

What is this IP address: 10.14.0.15? The server is attempting to proxy through that to get the updates. Check your vci-integrity.xml file for that IP address, and validate that use proxy is set to false. Then retry your download task.

i have fixed the problem, it was a corrupt odbc connection to the database.

13 years later on from this thread being posted, you’re unlikely to be using the same software versions, you might want to create a new thread detailing your issue…
