VM no respons for over 5 minutes with Vmotion when Vmotioning a heavy memory using VM or multiple lightweight VMs. Does anyone have this experience too, and besides not doing this as stated can anyone give me a suggestion on how to solve this issue.
Have you verified that no cd-rom is attached to physical? Just curious as it gives no reponse if you left a cd-rom physical attached to that vm. (poweroff and disconnect must be unselected)
Can you confirm there are no duplicate IP addresses on your vmkernel network subnet?
Can you vmkping from one ESX's vmkernel interface to the other server?
Any interesting entries showing up in /var/log/vmkernel or /var/log/vmkwarning ?

Confirmed!

Yes, no problem.

No, nothing interesting
I found that the design is not perfect. No dedicated NIC for Vmotion and no dedicated NIC for storage. That could improve performance, but since these are blades the scability is very limited.
