We are in the process of evaluating vmware ESX 3.0.2 server. Current setup includes the VMware host server and two Windows 2003 R2 SP2 virtual machines. I have created two Virtual Swithces. Once switch has a virtual nic dedicated for the Service Console. The second switch has a second virtual nic and Virtual Network with two Virtual machines. When both the machines are powered on, i can only ping one machine from the production network. However I can ping these Virtual machines from each other. Only one machine can go out to the production network. Both these machines have static IP address. Any help would be appreciated.
