Hi all,
I recently did an upgrade of my ESX'es. After the upgrade I realized one of my VM's had 5 old snapshots from pre-update 2. I startet deleting the snapshots, which resulted in the VM getting corrupted.
I used WinSCP to download the whole VM folder and tried to mount the data using VMware DiskMount, unfortunately there is almost no data left. It seems like merging the snapshots has corrupted everything only leaving a few Win2003 folders left.
Is there a way of going back, undeleting or anything, to get data back?
Unfortunately the backup of the above VM is not working either, so any help would be much appreciated.
Kind regards,
Stig
Hello,
There is no way to go back so if the Backup is not good, you are not in a good state.
