VM Template Error

Hi,

I Deployed Windows 2003 Virtual Machine on ESX 3.0.1 "Latest update" , from this VM I cloned Template.

I deployed VM from this Template After Customzitaion "SysPrep" I recevied this error "Two Conflicts Vlaues have been specified number of nics & Number of

Nic Settings (spec.nicsettings)" & The VM did not created on Data Store.

Note: I Extract Windows Support Tools on correct directory on Windows Virtual-Center as it mention on Template Best Practices Guide.

Kindly Could you assist me.

Try this:

Add the following entry (change the Ethernet device number as appropriate) to the template's config file (.vmtx).

The file is located in the VirtualCenter Repository.

Ethernet0.vnet ="" or Ethernet1.vnet = ""

After adding the entry, try to upgrade the template again.

Hi,

But I Configured This Template to support 2 Virtual Network Cards, So shall I add these Two Entries on (.VMTX) file.

Ethernet0.vnet =

Ethernet1.vnet =
