VM Migration question

Is there a way to migrate the VM from SAN shared storage to a local ESX storage Live, without powering it down>?=

if the VM resides on the Host in which you want to move off shared onto local, you can use sVMotion

As Troy said, If the VM is on the Host which has the Local Storage where you want to store your VM, just use Storage VMotion to migrate it from the SAN. If it is on a different host, just VMotion the VM to the host with the Local Storage, then sVMotion it over from the SAN

Be aware though, if that VM is stored on Local Storage you wont be able to use VMotion, DRS on that VM.
