VM Console performance parameters

Which parameters can be set up to improve VM console performance?

Like, mouse speed, keyboard typing, etc..

Thanks..

Really it's best to avoid using the console view from the VI client.

This has an overhead on the host.

It's better to connect using RDP if it's a windows guest.

If you MUST use the console for some reason install vmware tools, enable hardware acceleration in advanced properties under graphical adapter and, if you are using autocad, increase video memory from the vm bios. I don't know why, but it helps a lot.

Yeah.. I know that..

But some scenarios here we really need connect to console, and we are experiencing poor performance on it.

I've seen 3 weeks ago some advanced parameters that we can change to get a better performance, but i lost it..

If you have enabled hardware acceleration and set it to the max possible, and, even increasing video ram from the bios doesn't help, then, i doubt you have other possibilities.

You can also try VNC or, better solution, rdp with "/console" switch which should act EXACTLY as connecting directly to the console.

No resolution for this... actually along time, patches helped to gain some perfomance, but certain cases still slow.

FYI, Before post this message, I did all the steps inputed here..
