VCP Quiz

Hi Folks,

I´ve created a little VCP quiz with 31 questions (by now):

There you can test your knowledge.

It would be great if I get some feedback or even better some more questions to include.

70% score

Although I was wondering if some questions were correct and there was a double question about number of LUNs during ESX install. Once it was a "fill-out" question and once as a multiple choice.

(I thought it was 16 or 127, neither was correct )

Would be great if it was possible to review the questions.

Gabrie,

it´s not the same question!

One questions points to the LUN support during ESX installation and one after ESX installation because it´s not the same.

try 128 during installation and 256 after installation.

I thought about reviewing questions but I find that the questions are boring after the first run if you know the answer.

I´m happy that you found the quiz great, grasshopper.

In a VI3 class that quiz should be great to play a bit for the real certification.

If I got spare time, I´m going to extend the quiz with harder questions.

hmm 17 out of 31.

I didn't know there are also open questions.

Or is it on the exam only multiple choice?

I didn´t integrate original questions from the VCP certification.

Instead I created some questions by my own, but I know from my own certification what was asked.

So you can find any type of question in my quiz.

In the original VCP certification you find only multiple choice and true/false questions.

I found that there is one questions options are wrong. The question is with two options,

a) nothing because it´s done manually

b) the virtual machines on the powered off Server will be started on other HA cluster membes

what ever select it says incorrect answer. But B is correct answer.

Second thing, Is there any questions in the exam related commands. Because i read from this forum that there are no command questions wld be in the exam because everything can be done through vc2 in vi3.

it´s corrected. I didn´t select a correct answer in the backend, sorry.

In the real exam, there are no questions about esx commands. At least I didn´t one.

I believe that would be esx.conf for the quiz (the file's actually /etc/vmware/esx.conf)
