VCB : Restore file from server splitted in 2gigs files

I want to restore some files from a server. I'm using VCB to create my backup to a proxy server.

VCB creates few files of 2 Gigs. When i try to mount the disk it reports invalid disk.

I tried the option /M 0 ( create 1 file for the vmdk ) and it works.

Before mounting the Vmdk with the 2 gigs option , what command should i run before to recreate the disk or make it readable by vmmount.?

I know this isn't a direct answer to your question, but in my experience I've found the easiest way to restore files that were backed up into 2gb chunks with VCB is to use VMware Converter to re-import the file. It'll understand the disk layout and be able to re-assemble the file chunks during the restore.
