VCB Mount Errors

I ran Vcbmounter -h vpvct01 -u admin -p password -a name:alasca -r C:\mnt\alasca -t fullvm -m san

This created multiple vmdk files from the one vm.

I'd like to mount it and restore select files. I then run...

mountvm -d c:\mnt\alasca-backup\scsi0-0-0-alasca.vmdk -cycleId c:\mnt\alasca-files

I get the error below. Do I need to point to all the vmdk files.

I'm not sure why this isn't working. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

alasca is a Windows guest?

Filelevel mode works ONLY for Windows guests.

I'd like to mount it and restore select files.

You cannot use filelevel mode to do restore... only to do selective backup (of Windows guests).

Thanks. You're right. I was trying to mount a Linux server.
