I need to backup a VM with RMD in physical mode attached using VCB. However, I got the error "Snapshot creation failed: Virtual machine is configured to use a device that prevents the snapshot operation: Device '' is a raw disk, which is not supported". Refering to another post on the forum, it suggests to change the RDM to virtual mode and select the presistent mode in order to allow VCB to ignore it.
I'm not interested to backup this RDM disk, is this the correct and best method or are there any other better solutions?
