_VCB-BACKUP_ snapshot removing problem using VCBMounter

Hi

I was doing fullvm mounting using VCBMounter and stops the operations in mid ways.It lefts the the VCB-BACKUP snapshot on the ESX server.

how can I delete this snapshot using VCBMounter or any other tool?

You can open the vi client, right-click the vm, go to snapshot manager, you should see VCB-BACKUP listed there, and you can delete it there.

Thanks for the reply.

I don't want to delete VCB-BACKUP snapshot from VI Client.

I want to delete this using VCBMounter or VCBSnapshot.

Any pointers on this?

just checkout the script vcbcleanup which is included in vcb 1.1

You can use vcbCleanup.bat file from the proxy to cleanup snapshots.

I mounted the VM using fullvm mode.

vcbcleanup script deletes only folders on proxy but its not removing the snapshot.

Any directions?

vcbcleanup should cleanup vcb backups. It should not affect non vcb snapshots. Also, there should be a line in your config.js to cleanup any old vcb snapshots if there are any.
